The ZeroImage Zero 4x5 Multiformat Pinhole Camera is the world's first camera that combines pinhole and zone plate technology in one unit. Your imagination and creativity can go wild! This camera has a simple design but it can be altered to allow countless combinations with its optional accessories. A variety of different focal lengths and pinhole sizes are available at your discretion. You can create unique images according to your own creative vision. The 4x5 format is a must in your pinhole camera series. The focal length of the basic camera is 25 mm, the only super wide-angle pinhole camera in 4x5 format with multi-focal length design available commercially. You can increase the focal length by 25 mm with each additional extension frame. Extension frames are held in position with the provided rubber bands. With the specially designed built-in turret, you can easily alternate your camera between a pinhole or a Zone Plate version. Each turret can hold up to six pinholes/zone plates. (Pinholes and zone plates are not included). The turret is designed to be interchangeable, so you can purchase extra turrets for varying requirements. The 4x5 cameras accept nearly all film holders available in the market: 4x5 sheet film holder, Polaroid Type 59, or Polaroid 545. It will also accept Calumet 6x9 roll film holders. Size of the basic camera is just 30 mm (D) x 155 mm (H) x 135 mm (W) (excluding the knob). You can even put the camera into the pocket of your jacket!Simple shutter with low-pressure spring prevents it from opening suddenly while being carried. The operation is smooth enough to avoid any vibration when operating the shutter. It is also suitable for fast exposure times. Handy and useful structure includes two tripod sockets turned from solid brass, so you can utilize the camera in portrait and landscape orientation. The optional Exposure Scale can help you to calculate the actual exposure times (including reciprocity correction) quickly. Specially designed structure reinforces the joint and bond of the camera, allowing the camera to shrink and to swell without affecting the performance of the camera when the weather changes. The interior of the camera is painted in matte black color (including the lens which is stained in black color). This minimizes the possibility of internal reflection and "lens flare". All inner edges of the camera are covered with a black velvet lining which helps to prevent light leaks even in bright sunlight. You can load and unload your film, change from color film to black and white, whenever you want, or you can take a Polaroid proof before the final shot. It is possible to up-grade your ZeroImage Zero 4x5 Multiformat Pinhole Camera with a shutter mechanism that will accept a cable release. With the optional cable release adaptor, you can trigger the shutter manually or with a cable release.
 
This camera additionally needs a film holder, which we do not offer. Most of these holders are not longer in production. They can be found e.g. in internet fly markets.
