The Viking 1x24 Night Vision Goggle Kit provides clear viewing in total darkness by utilizing a single built-in IR illuminator with a range of 150 m. Throw the ergonomically-designed, rubberized body around your neck for a long expedition; the lightweight, compact unit is surprisingly comfortable, making your viewing experience that much more enjoyable. Like all Viking models, the Viking 1x24 Night Vision Goggle Kit utilizes Yukon's newly designed Eclipse lens cap system, which removes lens cap hassles, dual eye diopter adjustment with central focusing, and a wide field of view. Yukon's exclusive Eclipse lens cap system not only protects the unit from bright light, it also saves users from many irritations. Everyone knows the hassles associated with binoculars' lens caps - they get lost or tangled, but without them the lenses become dusty or scratched up. The Eclipse lens cap system features flip-top lens covers that can be flipped up to fit against the binoculars' body and rotated to ensure that they are out of the viewing field. Also, the covers can be taken off all together. In addition to the Eclipse lens cap system, the water resistant Viking utilizes a soft, one-piece eyecup to prevent external light distortion and light leakage from the device, allowing the user to remain hidden in the night.
