The part that connects to a guide scope and enables you to check whether the auto guider is working properly.
The scales are indicated in red, so the unbrightened field of view enables you to see dark stars.
High precision guiding is provided with the scale (on a guide scope with focal length 1000mm) in 10-degree increments along the circumference and 5-degree increments along x and y axes.
An accurate guiding at a high magnification is possible by using the attached 3x. Barlow lens.
