The 150/1200mm EQ-6 is the giant upon the common refractor telescopes: 152 mm objective diameter and a focal length of 1200 mm in approved Fraunhofer quality allow an enormous light collecting ability at maximum contrast for high resolution pictures. The optics collect 459 times as much light as with the blank eye (116% more light than 120 mm) and with an aperture ratio of 1:5 this telescope is perfect especially for the observation of comets or Deep Sky objects and is ideal for planetary observation and astrophotography. The EQ-6 Heavy-Duty Equatorial Mount is the first of its kind, it is a precision instrument capable of carrying massive loads but at the same time it is very reasonably priced. The 150/1200mm EQ-6 comes equipped with a removable counterweight shaft with a diameter of 18 mm and features a built in polar finder scope with focusing eyepiece, right ascension and declination scales made of aluminium, built-in dual axis tracking drives and a stainless steel tripod. Further included accessories are an Apex 28 mm 2 eyepiece, a 9x50 view finder binocular abd a 90° 2 diagonal mirror.
