- IntelliCompass - Intelligent Electronic Compass Navigation The Multi-Navigator has a built-in electronic compass which, just like a traditional compass, detects the Earth's magnetic field and works whether you are moving or stationary! A great benefit, is that it uses very little power, which means you will be able to navigate for weeks* using the same batteries! In addition this it will automatically compensate for the local magnetic declination and show you the true compass direction so that you can concentrate on navigating!
- AltimeterThe ordinary GPS can only detect your altitude with an accuracy of ± 30 metres. The Multi-Navigator can, thanks to the built-in altimeter, detect differences in altitude to within one meter (3 feet)! This is a valuable navigation aid when in the mountains.
- Weather Forecast - BarometerWhen in the great outdoors, it is not only a question of WHERE to go that is important. Knowing WHEN to go can be just as important. The Multi-Navigator will also help you by detecting the weather trend and gives you a weather forecast. In addition, it gives you the barometric pressure trend over the previous 24 hours.
