The ZIPKA PLUS is the compact and ultra-lightweight headlamp that evolved from the TIKKA PLUS. It is equipped with the exclusive ZIP system invented by Petzl.
The retractable cord system substantially reduces the bulk of the lamp, while offering a wide variety of uses and excellent comfort. The headlamp fits great in the pocket of a pack or vest when trekking for several days. It has three lighting levels, which allow the light's power and burn time to be adapted the activity: to find a cairn (maximum mode), to follow a rocky trail (optimum mode) or to read a map (economic mode). The flashing mode can be used to signaling the user's location, if necessary.
The lighting mode is selected using the easy-to-use button, adjusting quickly and easily to the situation by favoring either brightness or burn time (up to 150 hours).

Lighting level can be adjusted to help conserve battery life:
- four LEDs produce flood beam lighting with a long burn time
- three lighting levels (maximum, optimum, economic)
- two lighting modes (continuous and flashing).
 
The retractable cord allows the light to be worn on the head, around the wrist or attached to a shoulder strap on a backpack, etc.
