Meade DS-2090 MAK Telescope

The Meade DS-2090 MAK Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope is an affordable, portable, and nearly perfect all-around telescope. This catadioptric telescope utilizes both lenses and mirrors to form an image.
It combines the advantages of a Refractor Telescope and Reflector Telescope while also eliminating their disadvantages. Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescopes offer the clarity and contrast of Refractors with the low image aberration of Reflectors.
In addition, the Meade DS-2090 MAK Telescope has a 90mm (3.5) diameter aperture, capturing enough light for brighter images and greater detail. This 90mm aperture will let you see craters on the moon, the rings of Saturn, the cloud belts of Jupiter and its moons, countless star clusters, double stars, nebulas and more. Meade LNT Auto-align and the critically acclaimed Meade AutoStar with 9-speed controller and automatic GO TO capability to any of over 1400 celestial objects.
The DS-2000 Altazimuth mount provides a more fluent motion in altitude and azimuth and has great accuracy on automatic Go-To, bringing stars even closer to the center of the eyepiece.
The quick release adjustable aluminum tripod with accessory shelf is more sturdy and robust, with thicker and more solid legs than the previous generation of DS-2000 telescopes.
